Biography: She was the daughter of the renowned general Josip Maroičić (1812-1882) and Agneza née Vranyczany-Dobrinović of Severin. She primarily engaged herself in religious painting, and her works can be found in monasteries and churches ("Mater Immaculata" at Plitvička jezera, "Jesus on Mt Olives" in Banjaluka). She also excelled in etching. She was one of the rare women who was a member of the Croatian Arts Society. |
